Sportadmin must pay a six million kronor fine after a cyberattack exposed the personal data of 2,100,000 individuals in January 2025.The Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection found the company failed to address known system vulnerabilities that led to the leaking of sensitive information belonging to children.Hackers published the stolen records on the dark web after the firm refused to pay a ransom, violating Article 32 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
