Ross David Cutmore has been arrested in Kyiv on charges of treason and espionage for Russia, accused of conducting assassinations of prominent Ukrainian figures and transmitting sensitive military information to Russian agents.Cutmore, formerly a British Army soldier and special forces instructor, allegedly joined a Ukrainian border guard unit and received up to £5,000 ($6,000) from Russia's FSB for his activities, reportedly including targeted killings of MP Andriy Parubiy, Iryna Farion, and Demyan Hanul.Additional suspects include
Viacheslav Zinchenko, who was arrested for Farion's murder but denied involvement, and
Serhii Shalaiev, who pleaded guilty to Hanul's murder; the case is being investigated by Ukrainian and British authorities, and Cutmore remains in detention as proceedings continue.
