Police Arrest Four After Six Injured in Antwerp Knife Attack

Wouter Bruyns of the Antwerp police confirmed four arrests after six people were injured during a knife attack at a pro-Kurdish demonstration on Thursday.The incident occurred at the Opera Square as attackers allegedly infiltrated the group of three hundred protesters and began stabbing victims indiscriminately, leaving two individuals in life-threatening condition.Orhan Kilic of the Council of Kurdish Communities in Belgium condemned the assault as a terrorist act motivated by extremist ideologies following protests against violence in Syria and Turkey.
