The Transportation Security Administration has announced a new identity verification process called "Confirm.ID" for travelers aged 18 and older who do not have Real ID or other approved identification.Confirm.ID will require biometric data collection and a non-refundable $45 fee for a 10-day verification period, replacing the previous leniency with travelers undergoing extra screening.Adam Stahl emphasized that the program aims to enhance aviation security and aligns with standards implemented after the September 11, 2001 attacks.
