Michael Virgil's family filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Royal Caribbean, alleging negligence contributed to his death aboard the Navigator of the Seas last year.The lawsuit claims Virgil was served at least 33 alcoholic beverages and, after becoming intoxicated and agitated, crew members allegedly tackled him, pepper-sprayed him, and administered a sedative.Virgil's family asserts these actions, combined with excessive alcohol, led to respiratory failure and cardiopulmonary arrest, with the death ruled a homicide by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's office.
