Turtle Island Liberation Front (TILF) was linked by federal authorities to a coordinated plot to detonate improvised explosive devices and incendiary devices at multiple targets in the Los Angeles area, and five suspects were arrested in Los Angeles and New Orleans.Court filings identify the four people arrested in the Los Angeles area as Audrey Illeene Carroll, Zachary Aaron Page, Dante Gaffield and Tina Lai, and prosecutors say agents seized bomb components including multiple sizes of PVC pipe, suspected potassium nitrate, charcoal, sulfur, materials for fuses and planning documents titled Operation Midnight Sun that included parts lists and step-by-step instructions.The Department of Justice charged the four defendants in the Central District of California with conspiracy and possession of an unregistered destructive device,

Akil Davis called the group a violent homegrown anti-government organization and

DOJ and the
FBI "prevented what would have been a massive and horrific terror plot in the Central District of California," and officials said the investigation remains active and additional charges or arrests are possible.
