Lindsey Vonn staged a historic comeback in St. Moritz, becoming the oldest skier at 41 to win a World Cup downhill and then returned to the podium the following day.The victory was the 83rd of her career, her first World Cup downhill win since 2018 after retirement and a knee replacement, and it moved her past previous record holders Didier Cuche and Federica Brignone. One day later she finished second to Emma Aicher by 0.24 seconds, and Vonn said she will pursue a place at the Milano Cortina Olympics as she continues to inspire athletes to defy age.
