Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor will not face a criminal investigation after the Met Police said a review found no new evidence of criminality or misconduct linked to historic allegations tied to Jeffrey Epstein. The force said it would not reopen inquiries into reported requests that he asked a taxpayer-funded protection officer to probe Virginia Giuffre and into media reports such as "Mail on Sunday" and "The Telegraph," and it found no evidence that alleged sex trafficking from 2001 involved people resident in the UK.The decision closes a years-long chapter that cost Andrew royal roles and titles after his ties to Epstein and to associate Ghislaine Maxwell were exposed; Giuffre, described in the report as now-deceased, had reached a multimillion-dollar settlement in a US civil lawsuit, and Andrew has repeatedly denied the allegations.
