A UPS Boeing 747 arriving from Anchorage crossed in front of the supermoon as it approached Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport.The December event is the final supermoon in a series of four in 2025, known as the "Cold Supermoon," and will be the second-largest full moon this year.NASA explains that a supermoon occurs when a full moon is at its closest point to Earth and can appear up to 14% larger and 30% brighter than the smallest full moon.
