Alex Honnold successfully completed the first ropeless ascent of the Taipei 101 skyscraper in Taiwan during a live-streamed event on Netflix.The climber from the USA reached the summit of the 508-meter tower in 91 minutes, navigating the complex glass and steel exterior after rain delayed the attempt by one day.Lai Ching-te and Hsiao Bi-khim greeted Honnold at the top following the record-breaking climb that surpassed the previous assisted time set by Alain Robert.
