Mark Anderson was arrested on Wednesday evening after allegedly impersonating an FBI agent in an unsuccessful attempt to free Luigi Mangione from a federal detention center in Brooklyn.The suspect, a 36-year-old from Minnesota, presented a state driver's license and claimed to have a court order for the release of Luigi Mangione, who is accused of murdering UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in December 2024.Prison officials discovered a barbecue fork and a pizza cutter in the backpack of Mark Anderson during the incident, which occurred as Luigi Mangione prepares for a state murder trial scheduled to begin on July 1.
