Alex Honnold Scales Taipei 101 Without Ropes in Historic Netflix Event

Alex Honnold became the first person to free solo the 508-meter Taipei 101 skyscraper in Taiwan during the “Skyscraper Live” event on Netflix.The 40-year-old climber completed the ropeless ascent in 95 minutes after a 24-hour delay caused by heavy rain.Honnold reached the summit of the 101-story building following his previous world-renowned achievement climbing El Capitan in Yosemite National Park in USA.
