Cold Weather Pushes NASA Artemis 2 Moon Mission Launch to Feb 8
NASA postponed the launch of the Artemis 2 moon mission to no earlier than February 8 following extreme cold and near-freezing temperatures at Kennedy Space Center.The four-member crew, including Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen, remains in quarantine while engineers adjust heaters to protect the Orion capsule.This historic flight marks the first crewed mission to the vicinity of the Moon since 1972 and includes the first woman and first Black person to orbit the lunar surface.
