Ajit Pawar and four others died after their private Learjet 45 crashed and exploded during an emergency landing near Baramati.The Directorate General of Civil Aviation reported that the aircraft departed from Mumbai and erupted into a fireball just 30 meters from the runway, killing all staff and crew on board.Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deep sadness over the loss of the prominent political leader who was traveling to his constituency for election campaigning.
