The Associated Press updated that the Ursids meteor shower will peak Sunday night into Monday morning and remain visible in the Northern Hemisphere through Dec. 26, following earlier AP reports that the shower was peaking soon.Skywatchers can expect about five to ten meteors per hour at peak with possible short outbursts to 25 per hour, the American Meteor Society says, and astronomer Peter Brown of Western University in Canada recommends moving away from city lights and avoiding bright phone screens so eyes can adjust.
