More than 1,500 people in Niscemi were evacuated after the devastating Cyclone Harry triggered a four-kilometer landslide that continues to descend toward the Gela plain.Democratic Party secretary Elly Schlein criticized the national response while regional president Renato Schifani announced relocation plans for families whose homes are condemned to collapse.Civil protection chief Fabio Ciciliano confirmed a state of emergency exists across southern Italy as the storm is also linked to the disappearance of 380 migrants at sea.
