Stockholm District Court fined Gröna Lund 5.2m kr and Göteborgs Mekaniska 1.3m kr after the 2023 Jetline roller coaster derailment killed one woman and injured several others.Karin Elmegard and Mikael Elmegard survived the fall from the ride but expressed disappointment that the court rejected their 2.2m kr compensation claim.Gröna Lund CEO Jan Eriksson confirmed the park dismantled the attraction and implemented new safety measures following the investigation into the defective support arm.
