King Carl XVI Gustaf honored more than 40 individuals for their contributions to culture, politics, and sports during the annual medal announcements on Karl’s Day.Artist Niklas Strömstedt and actors Fares Fares and Andreas T Olsson will receive the Litteris et Artibus medal for outstanding artistic achievements.Former politician Jan Björklund and athlete Lotta Schelin are also among those recognized, with formal ceremonies scheduled at the Palace in February and April.
