Gunnar Strömmer has rejected a request from Turkey to interrogate journalist Joakim Medin in a Swedish court regarding ongoing terrorism charges.Joakim Medin, who was previously imprisoned for 51 days in Turkey for insulting Recep Tayyip Erdogan, warned that the decision could prompt an international arrest warrant against him.The Swedish government maintained that assisting the Turkish legal process would undermine national protections for freedom of expression and the independence of the press.
